Our Lady of Charity, also known as La Virgen de la Caridad del Cobre, is a title given to the Blessed Virgin Mary in the context of the Catholic faith, particularly in relation to Cuba. She is considered the patroness of Cuba and is highly venerated by the Cuban people.

The devotion to Our Lady of Charity originated in the 17th century when three fishermen discovered a small statue of the Virgin Mary floating on the sea near the Bay of Nipe in Cuba. The statue depicted Mary holding the Child Jesus and a cross. The local bishop recognized the statue as a sacred image and it became the center of devotion.

The shrine of Our Lady of Charity is located in El Cobre, a small town near Santiago de Cuba. The shrine houses the statue of Our Lady of Charity, and it has become a major pilgrimage site for both Cubans and Catholics from around the world.
