A botanica is a store that sells spiritual, religious, and folk-healing supplies such as candles, herbs, oils, statues, and ritual tools. Original Botanica has served this role in the Bronx since 1959, offering both everyday spiritual products and specialized items for specific practices.
Yes. We carry a wide range of traditional Hoodoo and conjure supplies, including herbs and roots, ritual oils, candles, sachet powders, and spell kits used in Hoodoo practice. Our staff can also help guide you toward the right products for specific intentions like love, protection, or money drawing.
Santería is an Afro-Cuban religious tradition centered on the worship of Orishas, while Hoodoo is a folk magic practice rooted in African American traditions in the U.S. South, focused on practical spellwork rather than religious worship. We carry dedicated product lines for both, including Orisha tools, elekes, and soperas for Santería, and roots, oils, and candles suited to Hoodoo conjure work.

Espiritismo is a spiritual practice centered on communicating with and honoring spirits, often incorporated alongside Santería and other Afro-Caribbean traditions.
