To make a massage oil using carrier oil and essential oils, you should follow these steps:
- Choose the essential oils that you want to use in your massage oil. Be sure to choose oils that are appropriate for the intended use and the desired effect. For example, lavender and chamomile oils are good for relaxation, while peppermint and eucalyptus oils are good for invigoration.
- Determine the proper dilution ratio for the essential oils you plan to use. A general guideline is to use 10-30 drops of essential oil per 1 oz of carrier oil, but this may vary depending on the individual and the essential oil used.
- Mix the carrier oil and essential oils in a small bowl or bottle. Stir or shake well to ensure that they are thoroughly mixed.
- Apply the massage oil to the desired area of the body and massage in a circular motion. Be sure to use a gentle touch and to avoid sensitive areas.
- Store the massage oil in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Shake well before using to ensure that the oils are thoroughly mixed.
