The Guinea pepper has been traditionally used in rituals for its believed spiritual properties. It is often used as an offering in African traditional religion and in some spiritual practices, it is steeped in tea and consumed to enhance manifestation and bring grounding to the spirit. Additionally, it is sometimes added to incense blends or sprinkled around a sacred space to purify the area and promote positive energy.

To cause harm to an enemy, lay out a Black Handkerchief, and place on it a rabbit's foot, some Graveyard Dirt, and Guinea Pepper, and write the enemy's name on a piece of Sheepskin Parchment Paper. Wrap the Handkerchief and tie it with a black ribbon and place it near or inside your enemy's house, car, or place of business. Alternatively, you can sprinkle the grains in front of your enemy's door. Your enemy will slowly become weaker.
