Explore the enigmatic world of Narco Saints, where faith and crime intertwine, influencing culture and igniting the human quest for hope.
Saint Barbara is a Christian saint who is venerated as a martyr by both the Catholic and Orthodox Churches. She is believed to have lived during the 3rd century AD in what is now modern-day Turkey.
According to legend, Barbara was the daughter of a wealthy pagan merchant. Against her father's wishes, she converted to Christianity and dedicated her life to serving God. Her father was so enraged by her conversion that he had her imprisoned and tortured. Despite her suffering, Barbara remained faithful to her beliefs and refused to renounce her faith. She was eventually executed by her own father, who was then struck by lightning and killed, according to the legend.
Pray to Saint Barbara for protection, courage and strength.
