Calling On The Powers of The Divino Niño
The Divino Niño is also known as the Divine Child Jesus. Many people, even those who are not Catholic, petition him for help with luck, healing,...
The origin of the Divine Child can be traced back to a vision experienced by Father Giovanni Rizzo, an Italian clergyman who was assigned to serve in an impoverished Colombian town. During the construction of a church in Barranquilla around the early 1900s, Father Rizzo had a profound vision of Jesus as a tender, youthful child, extending his arms and beckoning for companionship. Approximately three decades later, Father Rizzo stumbled upon a statue that strikingly resembled the exact image from his visionary encounter, discovered within a local shop. Since then, the image of the Divino Nino has gained immense popularity, becoming one of the most cherished religious symbols within the country.
